Winery operations in the Riverland
Background:
With a crushing capacity of 80,000 tonnes per year, this large-scale Riverland winemaker was proactively seeking to enhance their business and winery operations by providing back up power to their site, as a part of their technology uplift.
Problem:
- Due to the region’s climate, the new system would need to be able to adapt to varying high ambient temperatures and extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to run at continuous duty due to no power supply at the site.
Solution:
- A 200KVA Prime Caterpillar generator system was installed that could provide longevity and support winery operations during peak season
Outcome:
- A reliable back-up power system that supports their winery operations and runs at continuous duty for 24 hours, 5 days a week.
