Background

As BiomeBank prepared to scale their Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing capabilities to meet demand for their breakthrough culture microbiome therapies, they embarked on the creation of a new fit for purpose site in Adelaide.

Problem

• With research & development, along with manufacturing sitting within the site, uninterrupted power supply was essential to ensure business continuity in case of a power outage from the grid

Solution

• The PGS team were able to install a 150kVA Generator within a soundproof enclosure positioned in the basement of the building, with the exhaust extended 6 floors to the roof

Outcome

• The building now has an emergency power back system for all sensitive equipment,  future-proofing BiomeBank’s facilities at the site
